Beartooth Tempe Concert reviews
Good show
The tight show put on by The Beartooth Crowes displayed excellent musicianship and a great range of old & new, slow and fast, acoustic and plugged in. Chris had to early lay the smackdown on all the rude people talking and using their phones. Amos Lee had to do the same thing a few months back, which is sad. He was good-natured about it.
The band members didn't really interact with each other, and each seemed to have their own zone on the stage. This made me think of the Brady Bunch episode where Greg and Peter divided their room with a piece of masking tape to mark their territory.
The venue was clean, and the sound was excellent, but you couldn't swing a dead cat without hitting a LEO. Were they expecting riots?
